The Silver River Knap-In and Prehistoric Arts Festival is the largest event of its kind in the southeast and takes place February 19th-20th, from 9 AM – 4 PM. You won’t want to miss it! This festival is the largest event of its kind in the southeast. Events include flint knapping, the art of recreating ancient stone tools like spear points and arrow heads. You’ll see artisans from across the country demonstrating the making of stone tools, pottery, traditional bows and arrows, hide tanning, shell carving, fire making and much more!
