Your membership and contribution help us bring living history to our community. Events are hosting throughout the year at the park including our annual re-enactment. Not only has the fort had visitors from every state in the union, we’ve welcomed guests from around the world to visit and learn about our rich Florida history. We are especially pleased that Ft. King National Historic Landmark hosts Marion County middle school students each year, allowing them to witness the reenactment.
Your membership and contribution help us bring living history to our community. Events are hosting throughout the year at the park including our annual Festival at Fort King, the pinnacle of which is a re-enactment of the events that fueled the start of the Second Seminole War.
Not only has Fort King had visitors from every state in the union, we’ve also welcomed guests from around the world to visit and learn about our rich Florida history. We are especially proud that Ft. King National Historic Landmark welcomes Marion County middle school students each year, giving them the opportunity to experience the reenactment firsthand.
