9 AM - 3 PM | FREE | All Ages Welcome Join Gulf Archaeology Research Institute archaeologists as they study Fort King. You’ll be able to see how excavations are properly done, data is recorded and how the information is used to learn about the past.

Families can enjoy a free event within the Fort grounds for kid-friendly activities from 5-7PM. This is a co-hosted event by the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department and the Marion County Public Library System.
