City of Ocala's Annual Reenactment

Festival at Fort King

Step into the 1800s at the Festival at Fort King! This two day event will feature historic themed crafts, games, workshops, activities, living historians, vendors, food, drinks, and much more.

The pinnacle of the weekend is a re-enactment of the event that fueled the start of the Second Seminole War.

Kid Activites

Throughout the event, you will find some of the following stations: Rag dolls, field games, archaeology games, design-a-bottle craft, bracelet making, facepainting (each child gets 1 free FKNHL stamp!) and more!

Sandy Back Porch Band & DAR Vista

Stroll through our new open green space between the Daughters of the American Revolution’s memorial and our Archaeology Center. Music and seating provided to relax and enjoy your concessions under beautiful, shady trees.
